A Clear View (using acetate & Peel-Offs)

The Peel-Off flowers (black) were placed onto patterned paper, cut out and then attached to acetate - then ~I added the separate stems to make the flowers the height I needed them to be (clever Francoise Reads Peel-Off design)!  The background paper was from Wild Rose Studios -Annabels Garden.  This type of card will easily fold flat for posting - always a bonus!

An aperture has been cut to just the right size!

I have used a Silver peel-off for tis card and coloured on the back of the acetate using Gelly Roll GLAZE pens (Sakura) and added Crystal glitter at the wet stage for a fine glossy glitzy finish. The aperure has been cut using my Fiskars trimmer, just to the rt-hand side to allow space for the ribbon!


A Clear card -with a floating design!

Jane Gills Bubble Bells work beautifully in this clear acetate card design.  The Peel-Off has been placed on the front - and embellised with Candis, Pearls, Stickles...etc.  The inside has a pale blue layer (always attach with duble-sided tape as glue will always make a mess on acetate).  Then the white lacy edge layer is on the very back of the acetate card to create another layer...and hide all mechanics!  I have used all Pearly papers and card for a touch of luxury!

Create-a-Wreath kit samples.

The "Create-a -Wreath" samples made in Demo on Thursday morning.  There are 4 different colours in stock - in heart or circle shapes - £6.50 kit makes 2 wreaths.

A close up of one of the paper flowers in the Congratulations wreath.  This one has been tinged with ink from Brilliance Rocket Red Gold for this pinky, terracotta shading.    Pink gems and crystal glitter have been used to embellish for a sparkly finish.

TOP TIP - BRILLIANCE will dry on coated card such as Pearlescent.

CONGRATULATIONS KIT - Pearlescent finished flowers, tinged with Brilliance inkpads (Gold & Rocket Red Gold) with Self-adhesive Pearls added to flower centres.

These kits include over 46 die-cut flowers, 4 shapes (for 2 wreaths), Organza Ribbon - 2 colours, 2 chipboard bases.  JUST ADD - adhesives, Pearls, Glitter - all optional!

BOHEMIAN KIT - Coloured, printed flowers, tinged with Purple Versamagic chalk inkpad - made slightly shabby by "scuffing" the edges of some of the flowers with scissors for a shabby chic look!

Embossing Well!

 On Saturday June 1st - my demo instore was about Embossing - so many people begin and then get disheartened and abandon it!   So I thought i could do al ittle "troubleshooting" to help you get back on track.  Many customers had never used Versafine - such quaity of fine detail cannot be found with any other inkpad...and it is a pigment inkpad so it sponges beautifully too!  What more could you need?

ALL YOU NEED :- 

An assortment of lovely verses or greetings

Versafine inkpads -asst colours.

Clear detail embossing powder

Magic Ant Static pad.

Heat tool

Sponge finger daubers.

Corner rounder punch.

I have used all Versafine inkpads to print a perfect verse, embossed in Clear detail powder and then added 1st and 2nd generation prints of Grasses to spaces, rounded off the corners & then sponged to blend the shades arround the Verse.

IDEA - Make lots of "toppers" of your own stamps for a gift for a crafty friend to enjoy.  Maybe she will return the compliment...

My favourite Versafine colours are Deep Lagoon and Vintage Sepia - lovely and rich!
